Some preliminary information about the W8 Physical Cytometer, the only fully automated instrument for the physical characterization of 3D cell cultures. A brief overview of the sample compatibility criteria is provided.
An outline of the different compartments in the front view of the W8 system. The operations required before starting the experiment, are thoroughly described for each protocol step.
LIBRA software is conceived to convey the simplest and most user-friendly working experience for the operator. In this video, you will be taught how to better configure the experiment settings and the sorting options of your test. An overview of the Operative Panel's structure and functions is provided.
This section describes the automatic procedures performed by the Control Panel: first, the filling of the fluidic network with buffer; second, the automated measuring of single spheroids in the W8 Chip; third, the pre-selected sorting of target samples. Data are real-time visualized in the Graphs boxes.
After the analysis are completed, two cleaning procedures can be performed: RINSE, the cleaning procedure that prepares the instrument for a new experiment and STERILIZE, the decontamination protocol used to end the day of measurements before the instrument power off.
This section consists of a thorough troubleshooting guide for working with the W8 Physical Cytometer under optimal conditions and some tips for improving the user’s experience throughout the test. Some issues the operator may encounter during the experiment are easily fixed.
